This beginner-friendly class is perfect for kids who want to learn how to use a sewing machine or hone their sewing skills. Instructor Michelle of SewStinkinCreative will go over the basics, from threading and adjusting settings to sewing straight lines and simple stitches. Each week students will work on a new project which will help build confidence using a sewing machine and growing in sewing skills.

Life Skills are super important tools to help navigate and build confidence in so many areas of daily living. In a nutshell, life skills help you Be A Human. From the fields of ancient Israel to your modern kitchen, the process of grinding grain into flour has not only sustained bodies—but also carried deep spiritual meaning throughout Scripture.
Learn the anatomy of a grain and the refining process, types of grain, types of mills., along with best practices for storing grain and flour for long-term use and stewardship.
No prior experience necessary. All materials and equipment provided.

Grace & Grains Co - Sourdough Basics Workshop | Adults & Kids 12+ | October 11
Learn how to mix, shape, score and bake your own sourdough! This workshop is a hands-on experience facilitated by local Micro-Baker Desiree Marts of Grace & Grains Co.
You'll leave with your own sourdough starter, made from well-established organic starter and working knowledge of the sourdough process as well as a prepared mini-loaf in a banneton, ready to be baked fresh at home the next day. Workshop includes: hands-on instruction, prepared mini-loaf, banneton, tasting of fresh baked loaves and written instructions!
For Adults. Kids 12-16 are welcome with a paid accompanying adult.
